The KELO Cup – honoring athletic excellence in South Dakota

The KELO Cup recognizes the champions and the championships of South Dakota high schools. Each school year, KELOLAND Sports will award the KELO Cup to three South Dakota high schools – one in each class AA, A and B. Since not all sports have three classes, schools will compete in the class in which they play basketball.

The KELO Cup recognizes the champions and the championships of South Dakota high schools. With both the Boys and Girls teams winning state titles in CROSS COUNTRY, TENNIS, & TRACK Lincoln has won the KELO CUP for the forth straight year!  Wow, what an accomplishment, congrats to all the Lincoln athletes on this amazing record.

In 40 years, just two programs have swept both boys and girls team and individual titles at the South Dakota State AA Cross Country Meet, the 2000 Rapid City Stevens Raiders and 2016 Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots.
